Founded in 1977, Urban Science is a company specializing in data analytics, proprietary software and consulting solutions for the Automotive Industry. We help our clients to capture their maximum available market share, plan the optimally efficient network of car dealerships, improve individual car dealership performance, and efficiently convert electronic car sales leads into car sales. Today we have a team of more than 850 employees throughout 19 global offices.
As we grow and expand this team, we are inviting talented and creative .NET and SQL Developers to check us out and consider us as a potential employer. We have a Visual Studio Enterprise Web Environment and are particularly interested in Developers with programming skills in C# and T-SQL. The openings we have in development are a combination of front and back end work some more focused on one end than the other. One of our current openings for a developer would be working on MMO our Market Master Online software and our Si2 framework. This is web based application and depending on what you are working on from one week to the next it is sort of a combination situation - it might be different features being implemented as part of the back end and you may be working on Stored Procedures or SSIS packages. Next week you may be working on the front end with existing framework creating additional widgets or web controls, charts, maps and tables.
You would be working on proprietary enterprise software for Customer Solutions including; designing, developing, proof of concept, and maintenance of automated solutions using Microsoft .NET, C#, ASP.net, MVC, JavaScript, XML and XSL, TFS, MSMQ, WWF; management of relational databases using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and Business Intelligence Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS); development of mapping solutions using ArcGIS, ESRI Geocode API, and Bing Maps API; and design and development of web services using WCF, WPF and SOAP.
