Then this might be the next exciting challenge for you!</p> <br /> <br /> <p>Title: Senior Software Engineer</p> <p>Location: Chicago, IL</p> <p>Reports to: Director, Software Engineering</p> <br /> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Participate in the Agile process, working with product owners and the development team to gather requirements, design and development new systems, and improve existing ones.</p> <p>Use your expertise to take on and solve complex technical problems during the development lifecycle.</p> <p>Lead performance initiatives that impact production scale and user experience.</p> <p>Participate in ongoing research and evaluation of new related technologies.</p> <p>Drive automation initiatives that reduce time spent on development and QA processes.</p> <p>Drive accountability and adoption.</p> <p>Publish guidance and documentation to promote adoption of design.</p> <p>Propose design solutions based on research and synthesis.</p> <br /> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>5+ years of hands-on experience in developing and supporting large web applications.</p> <p>Excellent agile project management skills; ability to estimate scope, break up problems into deliverable chunks, and pivot when requirements change.</p> <p>Extensive experience using C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, SQL server and related Web technologies.</p> <p>Experience designing and developing REST API's, ASP.NET Web Applications, MVC, MVVM, SOA, AJAX, jQuery, Angular JS, Ext JS and other front-end technologies/patterns preferred.</p> <p>Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or other technical discipline required.</p> <br /> <br /> <p><strong>About comScore:</strong> comScore, Inc. is a global media measurement and analytics company that makes audiences and advertising more valuable.</p> <br /> <p>Founded in 1999 and headquartered in Reston, Virginia, comScore, Inc.
