The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is accepting applications for the position of Application Systems Developer. This is a career, full-time position with a targeted salary range of $70,000 - $85,000/year with full health benefits and membership in the UC Retirement Plan. Under general supervision from the Assistant Athletic Director, IT (Information Technology), develop business applications pertaining to the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics (DIA) and assist with network and system administration. Communicate and implement network and system applications and procedures. Assist in the development of user training of newly developed business applications. When required by the IT Director temporarily act as department Network Coordinator (NC) and Computer Support Coordinator (CSC). The primary focus of the Application Systems Developer (ASD) is to assist in the design, development and maintenance of in-house applications and integration with the in-house network. The ASD will communicate with the Assistant Athletic Director , IT and the Senior Application/Database developer (ADD) to identify the application integration and implementation process. In addition to development and integration of applications, the ASD is responsible for maintaining and consulting on current applications and network systems being used in the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics (DIA) through applications development.
