Position: .Net Developer


Location/Department: San Diego, IT Department


Reports to: Director of IT


No Relocation


JOB SUMMARY
The Developer is part of a team responsible for on-going website and application development, maintenance, database development, and implementation for various Dunham applications including all corporate and customer-facing websites, custom applications and automated processes.
This position reports to the Director of IT but serves the entire corporate enterprise taking direction from various Department Heads as fits the task at hand.


DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Gathers requirements for, develops and maintains the various Dunham corporate websites with primary focus on Dunham's public website, www.dunham.com and the Dunham Intranet
• Gathers requirements for, creates, implements and maintains the database architecture necessary to support the various Dunham applications
• Gathers requirements for, develops, implements and maintains automated processes specifically those that enable the flow of data between applications or to/from external sources
• Gathers requirements for, implements and maintains customizations to third party applications such as the corporate customer relationship management system.
• Assists regular personnel in the support of the corporate IT infrastructure as requested


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 5 years of programming experience in ASP.NET and Visual Studio .NET
• Web Services experience and understanding
• Experience with SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 writing SQL scripts, stored procedures, DTS packages, SSIS, including familiarity with the SQL Server Client Tools
• Knowledge of MVC, C#, HTML5, XML, and W3C compliance standards, IIS 5/6/7/8
• Must have a thorough understanding of Software Development techniques, including software development lifecycle
• Demonstrated ability to model real world processes and requirements into usable applications
• Proven excellent ability in interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse work group
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize projects
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
