Helion Software, located in Salem, Oregon, is looking for a Software Developer to join our expanding team. We develop a variety of enterprise software solutions for local governments currently in Oregon, Idaho, Nevada and Washington states with thirteen years of steady growth and continued expansion. You will work closely with our team of software engineers to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions covering point-of-sale, financial tracking, tax calculation and reporting. You will be actively participating in the re-write of the existing assessment and taxation system that is used throughout Oregon; using newer technologies to enhance the product and adding new features. You will also work with our other products, such as Recording and Receipting software that runs in Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Nevada.
At Helion, we rely heavily on the Microsoft Technology Stack. We utilize both desktop applications and web-based solutions using WPF and ASP.NET MVC. Our data-driven applications leverage Microsoft SQL Server for back-end storage and processing.
