What we expect of a Senior Engineer
As a Senior .NET Engineer, you will lead the development of new-consumer facing functionality and associated back-end services. You will lead the team on architecture and API design, coding standards, testing and operational excellence, and you will deploy and support your own code in production. You will mentor other engineers and stay connected to other teams. You must have an intuitive grasp of good code and good architecture, love software development and enjoy helping other people improve. You’ll quickly become a trusted technical authority, sought out by other people in your department.
You will work in a cross-functional Agile product team with a dedicated Product Manager, UX Designer and QA Engineer, and you’ll interact with stakeholders from across the business. You will also be active in a wider community of .NET developers tasked with driving up engineering standards and ensuring our platform is stable, secure and scalable - fit for future growth.
