Interact are currently in the process of redeveloping all of our legacy applications to utilise new, cutting edge technologies.
We’re looking for individuals with a passion for taking existing applications and improving them from a user perspective, but more importantly, from a developer perspective.
The sorts of challenges you’ll be taking on are:
- Migrating WebForms to MVC
- Migrating code from VB.NET to C#
- Migrating code from Classic.asp to C#/MVC
- Re-architecting applications to use modern design patterns
- Implementing things like Dependency Injection and thorough unit testing
The biggest challenge you’ll face is doing all the above while releases are ongoing, and delivering the technical roadmap alongside fantastic new features.
Every day, you’ll be coding for a platform used by over 500,000 users on a daily basis. The work you do, the improvements you’ll make, and the features you’ll develop are delivered through monthly releases so it doesn’t take long to receive that all important customer feedback.
