The Application Architect is responsible for designing and developing high availability applications to be integrated with internal and external websites, mobile applications, and various other system components. This role involves technical leadership, system ownership, and hands on development.
- Lead the development of new features and applications and improve existing infrastructure
- Own the non-functional requirements of the application
- Design the component architecture of the application and ensure development adherence
- Support the teams responsible for maintenance and testing of the application
- Collaborate with the team and other architects to ensure proper systems integration
- Collaborate with Product Development by aligning business needs with technical solutions
- Research new technologies and suggest adoption where appropriate
Our systems technology stack consists of .NET 4+, NServiceBus, RabbitMQ, SQL Server 2012+, MongoDB, MVC 4, Web API 2, etc. We work in an agile/scrum environment. We practice test and infrastructure automation.
