USAN is looking for an experienced .NET developer to join our team. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable going all the way from requirements to deployment and who isn’t afraid of a little maintenance on legacy systems (some VB.NET and ASP.NET).
At USAN, you will be part of a dedicated team working to provide custom contact center solutions from conception to release. You will work to design creative and robust solutions to streamline processes that keep our organization efficient and allow us to better care for our customers. Duties
- Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs
- Support of legacy VB.NET / ASP.NET web applications with SQL2005+ databases, provide migration path while enhancing feature functionality
- Update, maintain and create internal web services
- Extend our existing monitoring and configuration tools
- Actively participate in all aspects of the software engineering process
- Analyze user stories / business requirements to come up with high level design
- Rapid prototyping of new tools to enhance business processes
- Will report directly to the VP of Enterprise Architecture
Basic Qualifications
- Programming ability with ASP, ASP.NET, VB.NET and C#
- Good experience and/or proven ability in UI in web frontend development (ideally providing working examples)
- Ability to work independently but within team oriented structure
- Ability to multi-task and flexible to get involved in all areas of IT with a medium sized company
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 – 3 years of experience in C# and ASP.Net
- Exposure to C++, Windows Powershell, XML, XSLT, SOAP, Perl, and/or Linux
- Experience developing with Microsoft SharePoint services
- Experience with MS SQL 2005-2014 and DB optimization
- Experience with AWS and/ or Azure interaction/automation
- Exposure to system security and open source
