And when the sale starts, how do you decide who of tens of thousands of concurrent users gets that one best seat in 100 milliseconds? As a Software Engineer, you’ll work alongside the tmPrime team in Stoke-on-Trent to engineer and tune the ticketing platform responsible for over 60 football, rugby and cricket clubs internationally. Responsibilities
- Perform analysis, design, coding and testing of software applications, providing technical solutions that conform to requirements, and with a focus on high quality and high performance.
- Investigate new technology and updates, so that the team are aware of any technical advancement and of any changes that need to be implemented.
- Increase automated test coverage of the application suite.
- Verify that fixes for defects and new features work as expected and do not cause regressions.
- Work with Project Managers, Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Quality Engineers on a daily basis to design, develop and deliver software. Be a vocal advocate of the end-user.
- Committed to the continuous improvement of the team, software and processes, and actively participates in Agile ceremonies.
- Work with operational teams to improve stability and performance of products.
- Facilitate continuous delivery of applications, to ensure overall time of software delivery is low.
