In order to support the growth of the company, the Business Product Development team who are responsible for the key systems that allows JUST EAT to actually function is creating new teams within our Bristol office to essentially rewrite the rules around enterprise software development. #minifistpump
Your new team will be leveraging core engineering principles that are hardwired into JUST EAT’s cloud-based engineering philosophy to create a universal eventing layer, based upon AWS technology and C#.Net as a language, to build highly resilient connections between our core e-commerce platform and a number of world class third party platforms: Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget), Tableaux, Dynamics AX and no doubt more to follow.
As an Engineer in Business Product Development, what will you be doing?:
- Working on green field projects, using the right tool across the C#.Net tech stack to build "industry defining" products to support the worlds number one takeaway company
- Working in Continuous Delivery / Deployment and having full stack control to meet your's and your teams objectives.
- Using OKR's to be aligned with company wide objectives, and create great clarity about what will make the boat go faster!
As a Senior Engineer you will:
- Will become a trusted technical authority and specialist in one or more technical areas of your team. You’ll be someone the rest of the team and your Technology Manager can turn to for engineering advice and guidance.
- Collaborate with other product development teams and use their feedback as a basis for improvements.
- Write technically sound, clean, maintainable code – with practical application of established patterns and practices.
