Revenew is a high-growth, Chicago-based marketing platform company that leverages a wide range of leading-edge technologies. Revenew seeks a talented Systems Administrator that can quarterback the core platform on Microsoft Azure, while managing supporting platforms and integrations from leading-edge partners such as Google, TIBCO, Marketo, Adobe, and salesforce.com.
This is a unique opportunity for a career-driven, talented Systems Administrator to help lead the confluence of important technology trends, including mobile, marketing automation, digital advertising, sophisticated APIs, data-driven geo-mapping, social, and big data.
We sit in the heart of Chicago, walking distance to every city and suburb train line, and have a talented team that comes together each day from throughout Chicagoland to build and deliver a patented technology platform like no other.
Key Skills: Windows, Linux and related cloud-based server experience.
The Revenew environment is a highly-optimized blend of leading-edge technologies, and the core of the Systems Administrator’s job is to maintain optimization as the Revenew platform scales – both in terms of customers (currently over 3,000) and level of integration (projects in-flight right now expanding our integration with our mobile platform, Google, salesforce.com, Marketo, Adobe, Okta, and TIBCO). The successful candidate does not need to have had experience with all these platforms walking in the door, but the candidate needs to be able to ramp up quickly on these technologies – with our help, of course!
Every day brings new opportunities at Revenew, as our enterprise brand customers have their own great ideas on how to leverage the platform. Accordingly, the Systems Administrator needs to be able to:
- Provide support for highly complex technical issues and initiatives related to large scale applications, systems, databases and/or other technical products and services
- Analyze Revenew performance trends and recommend process and infrastructure improvements, and lead deployment of new/upgraded infrastructure via Microsoft Azure
- Plan and lead deployment of platform components to support new or enhanced integrations
- Use/create diagnostic, simulation and other tools to maintain, troubleshoot and restore service or data to systems
- Evaluate service level agreement criteria, identify gaps in current technology process and recommend changes to assure SLAs can be supported
- Perform migrations from development to production, upgrades, installations and/or configurations
- Evaluate or review queries to extract data, create standard databases, or perform limited programming to fine tune systems supported
- Help lead Revenew data and security compliance efforts, especially as Revenew expands globally over the next six months
- Build and maintain quality assurance systems, including automated test scripts
- Coordinate platform issue resolution with users, vendors, and internal service groups
