Our philosophy is that customers should enjoy a single point of contact from pre-sales through post go-live support.  We’ve built a strong following within the Fortune 500, even as a small company, by consistently surprising and impressing customers with our willingness to put our best resources on every issue they raise, even after they pay their invoices.  The Implementation Engineer will be accountable for providing high-quality technical guidance at every phase of the customer lifecycle for InFlight Foundation and our future software products. This person may also work on other development and process-improvement projects as needed.


So what do we need?


An Implementation Engineer to work remotely from anywhere within the US who understands the root causes of the problem, delivers a full resolution to the customer, and makes strategic recommendations to the developers. A hybrid support person who does so much more, including work on other development and process-improvement projects as needed.


Here’s what you’ll be doing:



  • Participating in our team-based sales process (setting up compelling customer-specific demo environments, analyzing customer requirements to determine our product’s suitability, etc.)

  • Installing and configuring InFlight products in customer environments

  • Helping build installer scripts (or helping augment customer-provided installer scripts) for migrations to Production and pre-Production environments

  • Managing the InFlight customer support portal and associated processes

  • Taking ownership of customer reported issues and resolving them without the need for escalation

  • Documenting troubleshooting and problem resolution steps

  • Providing training to customers as needed

  • Championing best-practices to help make InFlight “harder, better, faster, stronger”
