Many of the outputs that PDS produces are reports, publications and data. A new team has been created to support publications-related work and products and to take care of the end to end process.
From smaller systems to larger complex systems the Team lead will help specify, design and develop a range of in house publishing systems taking responsibility for design, coding and documentation as well as mentoring other developers. You will also be looking to contribute in planning the future roadmap of our publishing applications. As a Developer you will ensure all work carried out is well documented using appropriate standards, methods and tools. You will enjoy effectively line managing the team and guiding their efforts towards successful project delivery. This will include organizing and delegating workload as well as monitoring the team to make sure it’s done correctly. You will have a management style that fosters and motivates the team to achieve professional results within an informal setting.
We are looking for someone who is proficient in .NET and C# with Agile Development Process experience. We are also looking for people who have an in depth knowledge of Word Development using VBA and add-ins as many of our applications use Word as an editorial tool. You must have an analytical approach to problem solving and the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical staff at all levels.
