The Enterprise Services & Financial Systems (ESFS) group is a part of the Chief Financial Officers organization within Enterprise Financial Management. ESFS provides business and technical support across a broad range of financial systems and services for the Enterprise. This position is for a junior level developer to support Prudential's Enterprise-wide payment systems. The successful candidate must have 4+ years of programming experience on a Windows/Web platform. The candidate will be expected to perform his/her duties without close guidance and may be called upon to take a lead role within the team on selected assignments when needed.
Primary responsibilities include the following:
Work with the business analysis team and end users to understand both short-term and long-term technology objectives as well as anticipating changes in business requirements.
Perform hands-on analysis, design, coding and testing to meet business and technical objectives.
Coordinate with software vendors, where applicable, to manage upgrades and/or maintenance activities including problem resolution.
Provide ongoing production support for supported applications including problem resolution.
