The function of the GIS Developer is the design, development, and implementation of geospatial software solutions. The role is responsible for development of primarily mobile and/or web-based GIS solutions.
Essential Functions:
- Designing and developing customized applications across multiple web, desktop and mobile platforms; location data is everywhere - how will you solve problems with it?
- Application design, development and collaboration in a distributed team environment
- Development and implementation of test plans and automated test scripts
- Developing and applying service orientated architectures to enterprise solutions
Work Environment
- Location: Onsite location in Tampa, FL
- Travel approximately 10% of the time.
