Avigilon’s business intelligence group is seeking an experienced software developer to participate in the development of a platform to process data from thousands of security cameras and devices remotely with technologies relating to data mining and visualization, embedded systems, distributed systems, and integration with mobile applications.
The candidate must have experience in the following areas:
- Architecture of cutting-edge cloud platform of services and APIs
- Interfacing third-party services for machine learning, video and data analysis, and data visualization
- Design of RESTful APIs with low-latency/real-time requirements
- Ingestion, Processing and handling of large, remote, real-time telemetry and video data sets
- Data warehousing
- Collaboration with product teams to integrate devices with the platform
Our office is currently located on Middlesex Turnpike, Billerica but relocating to Assembly Row, Somerville in November.
