Real Art is seeking a Back-End Developer with a specialty in ASP.NET to join our Chicago team. In this position you will work alongside designers and developers to deliver elegant programming solutions from development to testing to release, using the latest tools and technologies. You must have impeccable technical skills as well as a passion for learning new things and an incredible sense of modern web design and systems.
In this role, you will be charged with programming and implementing server-side software and systems into interactive media. Our ideal candidate brings technical experience in both web development and web servers. In addition, you work quickly and efficiently to solve problems with attention to detail, are able to manage multiple projects effortlessly, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with team members across Real Art’s diverse disciplines. Most importantly, we are looking for a fun-loving individual who loves the work they do, and believes in pushing at the bounds of what’s possible.
Responsibilities & Skills:
- Programming, testing, and implementation of server-side software and systems
- Up-to-date knowledge of latest technologies and ability to troubleshoot difficult problems
- Recommend architecture and design optimizations to improve the scalability of the applications and maximize performance
- Excellent capability in ASP.NET 4.0+
- Fluency in back-end technologies of MSSQL, IIS, LINQ, C#, and OAuth
- Understanding of the MVC pattern, WCF services, and integration of CMS systems
- Work directly with designers, UX and development teams
- Write clean, maintainable and testable code
- Ability to navigate additional languages is a huge bonus
