The Solution Developer develops solutions to solve business problems and integration needs by utilizing various platforms (web services, console applications, ASP.NET, BizTalk, and more). Position Responsibilities:
- Lead business discovery meetings, in collaboration with other Hyland Solution Consultants.
- Gather business requirements and establish technical specifications for the client’s customized solution.
- Work with customers to design, implement, and support OnBase solutions, in accordance with Hyland methodologies to satisfy customer needs.
- Mentor and coach Junior Solution Developers on client projects, through the creation of customized solutions for client business needs.
- Manage complex client projects that encompass large scope or require more complex solutions.
- Use Hyland's developed OnBase APIs to extend and integrate OnBase into others systems.
- Work on customized solutions to integrate with business applications such as ERP, SIS, or other line of business applications.
- Create technical documents such as Requirements Documents and Administration Guides to be distributed to clients once project is completed. In addition, participate in creating and documenting best practices for API Solutions.
- Produce Test Plans for product creation- testing the client's customized solution prior to the deployment of the solution.
- Prior to the deployment of a customized solution, collaborate with clients, Project Leads and Managers to discuss changes to product functionality and ensure quality and consistency of the final product.
- In collaboration with the client's Technical Business Unit, deploy the customized solution into the client's site.
- Accurately manage and report all time worked on client projects.
- Support reseller and customer OnBase API development efforts through participating and consulting services, including presenting, answering, and informing future clientele at conferences.
- Develop knowledge of OnBase, the OnBase APIs, and best practices for creating OnBase solutions.
