Summary
As a Software Engineer, the primary task of this vacancy will be the development and maintenance of the IHS MARKETINSIGHT systems. MARKETINSIGHT is an online portal for automotive clients, which allows the user to plan, control and optimize automotive dealership networks.
Specific Job Duties:
- Work as part of an agile development team to design, estimate, develop and troubleshoot software solutions that satisfy business requirements.
- Report to management on project status, identify issues that may impede attainment of project goals, recommend and implement corrective measures.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
- Work independently as necessary.
- Proposes design approaches.
- Pair up with other developers as necessary to collaborate on and complete complex tasks.
- Assist in establishing project budget and timelines and manage assigned component of project within budget and time constraints.
- Provide technical direction and training to more junior Software Development personnel.
